Mikhail ("Misha") Gromov was born in USSR and now lives between France and the United States. After spending 40 years on geometry, he is now turning toward the interface between mathematics and life sciences, and he ponders on what of the inner working of the brain can be seen in how it is reflected in the structure of the contemporary mathematics.
