Day comes after night, and is our starting point.
This day is that of "veille", which no longer refers to yesterday, but to attention, responsibility and care.
A day that proceeds from night, the vigil is tomorrow. What it designates and demands depends on what is at stake in this night. Dream or nightmare, we need to define it.
To this end, this text proposes four approaches to the night, which are related and intertwined : the night as phosphorescence, the night as welcome, the night as intelligence, the night as deluge.
