In six regions of France (Auvergne Rhône-Alpes, Bourgogne Franche-Comté, Grand Est, Hauts-de-France, Ile-de-France and Brittany), researchers in humanities and social sciences are conducting interviews with professionals in nursing homes and, when it is possible, residents and their families. These interviews will provide an understanding of the experience and feelings of these persons and professionals during the lockdown, especially about end of life and death issues.
SPHERE is part of this multicentric investigation coordinated by the National Platform for End-of-Life Research since early April 2020. It is involved in the survey led in the Ile-de-France region.
