Martha Cecilia Bustamante received the Medal of the Senate of the French Republic on Tuesday, June 7, 2022.
Her work in the history of science and her recent book have considered an important contribution to scientific and intellectual relations between France and Latin America.
The ceremony took place in the Salons de Boffrand of the Senate and as part of Latin America and the Caribbean Week. This activity was born in 2011 on the initiative of the Senate and entrusted to the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs since 2014.
