- Historiography of ethnomathematics: research on the influence of historians/philosophers of science and anthropologists (19th c. – mid-20th c.) on the recognition––or non-recognition––of genuine mathematical knowledge developed in oral tradition societies worldwide.

- Historiography of numbers/numeration systems (19th c. – mid-20th c.) developed in oral tradition societies.
